The last checkard flag of the 07 season waved last night at the Midway Mower Speedway as the season came to a close but not without some excitement as Mike Wilson raced away with the win in the Mens Outlaw class. Bridgett Fagan held off Randi Ramsey to win in the Womans Outlaw class. Doug Byers raced through lap traffic and took the checkard flag in the Modified class. Sierra Kuhn raced to the top in the 5.5hp Kart class, and Daniel Fagan added another win in the 49cc Karts to his list. As the season ended it was time to crown the 2007 Kansas Outlaws points champions. In the Mens Outlaw class it was Mike Wilson on top for the second year in a row. The Womans Outlaw class saw Bridgett Fagan race her way to the top spot. In the Modified class Troy Koehn overcame a broken wheel to walk away a champion. Sierra Kuhn held off all the boys to grab the top spot in the 5.5 Kart class, and it was Daniel Fagan holding off his brother to grab the top spot in the 49cc Karts. Well the 2007 KS State Fair has come and gone, but not without some great racing acton from the Outlaws. Derek Fagan took home his first win of the year in the Men's Outlaw class. Nic Hayes held off Troy Koehn to grab the top spot in the Modified class. Bridgette Fagan slid around the state fair to take another win in the Womans Outlaw class. Paul Zimerman raced to the checkard flag in the 5.5hp kart class. Jessica Tipton raced to her first win in the 49cc kart class. We had a great time racing at the fair once again and hope to be back next year.
